Guatemala is known as the heart of the Mayan world or the Land of Eternal Spring. It has a vibrant living Mayan culture which stretches back over four thousand years. Its legacy can be seen up to the present day through the daily traditions and culture of the Guatemalan people.

There are also other great reasons to visit Guatemala such as the range of high-quality medical services it offers, particularly in Quetzaltenango.

Quetzaltenango is home to a variety of medical specialists with international experience. It has a range of clinics that offer treatments using the latest technology and which are certified at a national level.

Given the high costs of medical procedures in the United States and Canada, Quetzaltenango has become a competitive health destination. Savings of 40% to 70% are possible on dental procedures, and this includes the cost of travelling to this beautiful country. You can also travel with a friend or partner and enjoy Guatemala’s culture and natural beauty which takes in mountains, volcanoes, lakes, architecture, music and art.

Some of the most in demand treatments requested by US and Canadian patients are:

  • Dental cleaning and whitening
  • Dental bridges
  • Dental implants
  • Dental fillings
  • Dental restoration
  • Fixed and movable dental bridges
  • Surgeries and other procedures

Guatemala has a modern international airport and three regional airports which mean you can travel around the country quickly and conveniently. Due to its geographical position, Guatemala has become a major destination for Pacific and Atlantic cruises. Guatemala is also known as one of the world’s great fishing destinations and one of the best places to catch sailfish. With more than 720 species, migratory and local, Guatemala is the perfect destination for bird watching.

Put a smile back on your face by experiencing thousands of years of history, art and culture.

Start your journey with one of our travel and health consultants. They will contact you and provide you with the information and guidance required for your trip and dental procedure. A Skype appointment can be arranged with the travel consultant and dentist in order to answer questions you have about the trip and the procedure.
