Once you arrive to the public dock you can quickly notice the amazing view of the Mayan Face where you can watch incredible sunsets and sunrises. Also, the art galleries with its colorful paintings.

Walking through the streets will lead you to discover the cacao and textile demonstrations that involved natural dye which is a practice that is unique to the Tzutuhil culture in San Juan La Laguna and woven. This practice is ancient and it is transmitted from generations to generations, women use fruits, vegetables, bark and one insect called cochinilla, from which the natural dye carmine is derived, to get a variety of colors. In addition to this, San Juan la Laguna has the best coffee on the lake Atitlan basin according to coffee tasters.
The coffee company La Voz has 153 hectares of land dedicated to produce an organically certified coffee that is USDA organic and people are welcomed to take the coffee tour and taste a wonderful cup of coffee.
