This is a majestic place where you can admire a lost civilization that now is discovering, a civilization which was taking by nature, and now, these civilization is trying to recover it.
The family that went to Tikal the last time, decided to do it quickly, because they didn’t have a lot of time because of the children, so, they take an airplane and arrive in Flores, Petén. We was waiting for them in the airport, we drive to or hotel, this one is really good for families, it has a pool and children area, so the family can rest and the next day was the time to take the trek to Tikal. Merely a wonderful trip, the connection with history, nature and the magic to be in one of the highest temples in Tikal and feeling the sensation of raining, listening the monkeys and other animals… You should experience this sensation, at least, once in a life.
In other cases, people travel alone. In this case we are responsible to make feel them not alone. We drive to Antigua Guatemala. Is very easy to meet new people, to enjoy parties while you learn about Guatemala and its history.
Usually we stay at the hotel but we spend most of the time walking, looking ruin churches, eating, talking with people on the street… The hotel is really good but to be in the streets of Antigua Guatemala is dreamy.
